May...a lovely kind caring lady with a great sense of humour who I met through Rosecare. I always looked forward to visiting May and her family.

I married into the Bunt family in 1981 and first met May in 1980. My first memory of her was in Preston, her asking me if I’d like a cup of tea. When she asked how I liked it, I answered white. with two sugars. She immediately told me I wouldn’t get sugar in tea in her house and that was the last time I ever had sugar in my tea, anywhere, ever! We all know how strong a personality she had but because Sue and I travelled a lot during our time in the RAF I never really spent much time with her. So, it wasn’t until the last 5 years here in Felixstowe that I had the opportunity to really get to know her. During her 3 years living with us I discovered that we shared a wicked sense of humour and we would often have a laugh at someone else’s expense, normally just a stranger who was walking passed the house and often leaving Sue with a puzzeled expression on her face. I’ll miss those secret jokes and the laughs.
